Same here, what's up with that? They took GAC and CMT off regular Comcast cable. I called em and said if you're gonna take away channels give me back my country music and take BET.

CMT is starting to be more like MTV now though, so I could care less if I get it or not.

No kidding. I have DirecTV now and it sucks. Every time it rains or is windy outside there is no signal.
Someone remind me, what does trying out to be a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader have to do with country music? CMT used to be pretty good, but lately its gotten to be nothing more than a redneck version of MTV.
The only time I watch it now is when Top 20 Countdown is on or really late at night/really early in the morning when they place music videos. IMO, they should get rid of all the BS reality shows and quit playing the same movies over and over and get back to what CMT used to be all about: country music.

If you have trouble with DirecTV when it is windy, it isn't set up right. You will get rain fade. I lose it to rain fade about 4-5 times a year. Usually for 15 minutes or less.

It doesnt matter because in about 6 weeks my 12-month contract will be up and I am getting rid of DirecTV. Im going back to cable. For $45 a month I can get everything that matters to me: Speed, VS, Outdoor Channel, ESPN, CMT. Not to mention the fact that cable actually works when it rains, snows and is windy. Right now DirecTV is costing me $55 a month and after November when the rebate is up it will go to $65 a month.
The DVR and the guide are cool, but not worth an additional $20 a month and the signal is too unreliable.

Yup, it's all about the setup.
