I dont know why it pissed me off soooooo much when i saw it, but did anyone ever see the video of the kid who got tasered in UF.


The kid was asking John Kerry a question which of course there is nothing wrong with that, but he started getting upset and the police had to remove him. The kid clearly was resisting arrest and was told he would be tasered if he continued to resist. Needless to say he got tasered and was brought down. All of it was caught on camera as well as the policemans voice.

I was watching it on MSNBC and ive never been upset about how liberal the media really is until they said and i quote "He was tasered for asking John Kerry a difficult question" WTF. He did not get tasered because of the question he was tasered because he became a complete moron and began to be disruptive and non-compliant with the request to leave.

You pushed and shoved police officers and became irate buddy. You deserved to get tasered and MSNBC deserves to be tasered for that comment.

Gotta love the lefty media. I had an admitted "most liberal guy in my graduating class" Professor at SDSU tell me on Tuesday that he doesn't buy into the idea that the left controls or influences the media in America. I almost walked out...

Stories like this just have me shaking my head....wondering how people can manage to tie their shoes and still be dumb enough to confuse a situation like that so terribly.

 

I guess I should have clarified, but I was talking about TV. In that case, Fox is the only major outlet that isn't from the left...all the major broadcasting stations (ABC to CNN) are clearly pulling for the left (AND MTV).

There are also MANY major newspapers that are lefty too. (NY Times)

I must know how this is calculated. Is it by # of media sources, or by audience? For example, do four local conservative papers and a right leaning blog with a readership of 100 each outweigh CBS news 5 to 1? Or does CBS news outweigh them 5,000,000 to 500?

FWIW, I live in a fairly small media market where our citizens are mostly conservative. Our only local newspaper is quite liberal. Our local TV news is left leaning to middle of the road, and our local talk radio is decidely conservative.

I suspect in most markets, the TV and newspapers are liberal, while radio is conservative. And the internet goes from 1 extreme to the other.

 

Yeah the media kind of just makes things up as they go along. Personally if they were going for ratings, which figuring that ratings determine their income they should be, I myself would watch more if it went something like this "Kid tasered for being a ****" vs. "Police taser a kid for asking a hard question"

I can't even watch the news anymore, makes my blood pressure too high. There was a kid here who was cuffed and put in the back of the patrol unit, while in there he felt the cuffs were uncomfortable so he decides to move them around to the front of his body. Officer notices this and immediately pulls him out of the car, uncuffs and re-cuffs him behind his back. Kid got a few scrapes and a black eye. Now the Media here is treating this kid like Joan of Arc for being a f'ing idiot. Showing him and his people holding prayer meetings infront of the courthouse before this kids hearing for resisting arrest and assult of a police officer.

 

Radio conservative? What about Howard Stern, Lex and Terry, and many many more. Now there are conservative shows too. There are both right and left shows on every form of media.
