Yeah, that's $113 per tire.

When it's all said & done: Mount & balance, road hazzard, replacement waranty, disposal of old tires... It'll be showing the hell out of $700.00

Those Pirelli Scorpions were only $140 a tire (which I thought was cheap for Pirelli's) but when they got through with me, I was $880 lighter.

My friend had a C4 Vette. He was spending $320 per tire x 4 (not counting mount, balance, RH, etc.. every 10 months (Z-rated).

After about 20 months he traded it in on a Maxima. He said he was used to spending $320 for a set of 4 tires. Not $320 for one tire.

The Nitto in a 20", were about $213 at Tire Rack or Discount Tire- I forget which one. To go all the way around, would lighten my wallet a good $1,100.00.

That General is looking better and better.

Well coming from someone who just spent $1200 on A/T's, go with the tire that gives you the most bang for your buck. If that is the $113 tire then do it without looking back. I promise you that it's ok not to have the most expensive tires, and this coming from someone who spent a small fortune! Good luck.

General makes some of the best high performance tires for cars and trucks, I just hope they don't realize it anytime soon and jack up their prices!

A friend of mine as the Cooper STTs and they are not terribly loud. You could carry on a conversation at highway speeds with no problem.

Eh, I think I'm just gonna stick with replacing the two rear BFG's on my truck. I can get them for $193 each OTD from CostCo with a lifetime everything on it. I really don't have $800 to drop on new rubber, especially when my fronts are still good. Expect a sweet burnout video here in a few weeks...

Man I am so late to this dance...i didn't read all the pages.

I am kind of in the same place here. I will need new shoes soon but my requirements. I am pure stock on wheels on my KR. 18's. Need E rated tires and need something to get me out of the mud when I go off road to hunt.

I was looking at the Nitto's too. Any suggestions for my KR F250?

Ah, I had the Bridgestone Dueller A/T REVOS on my F-150 and I LOVED LOVED LOVED them. I expected more out of these BFG's. Oh well. I didn't pay for em.

Hey! You scratched my anchor!
