Anyone buy a good tv lately?

I am in the market for a 42" or a little bigger. Have any of you bought one you'd recommend?

Agree with BHibbs, but a Mitsubishi 65" DLP 1080p for about $2,400 at Best Buy. Couldn't be happier with it.

42" Hitachi plasma a little over two years ago. Still love it and no problems.

Sanyo makes excellent tv's in my opinion. I've had mine for about a year and have absolutely no complaints.

Think DLP HD 1080. Toshiba has a nice 65 inch for very reasonable price. Less than $1,700.00.

LG 42" Plasma. Best bang for the buck. DLP are cheaper, but picture quality suffers someone if you get on an angle, either from the sides, above, or below. All depends on what fits your wallet and your room.

Well with a wall mount, HDMI cables, warranty, and tax i think it was right at $2200. The TV itself was 1899...
