Talking Brooklyn's first word....

Well, we were sitting at the table having a nice dinner. Brooklyn was having peas and chicken with rice (baby food). She was acting a fool in her chair, as usual. She dropped her bottle, and she fumbled, "uh" out. It was funny.

So, I tried to help her out by saying, "oh". She could get, "uh" out, but that was as far as she could get. We tried for a few more minutes, but had to move on....she was just happy to have her bottle back.

After dinner, I took her "table" off to take her out, and dropped it. She looked down at it and said, "uh oh". We all cracked up. I wanted to test to see if it was a fluke.

I dropped it once more, again she looked down at her little tray and then looked up at me and said, "uh oh".

My kids first word is ... "uh oh"?

Uh oh.

Yup, sure would have.....that's why I left out the "oh" before Budha.

My daughter was good at "Uh, oh".
You'd hand her the bottle back, she'd drop it and say "uh, oh." again.
That got old quick, but enjoy it anyway. They quickly outgrow that stage.
My little one started first grade this week. It slips away quickly.

Congrats Jamz

Only bad thing here is once they start you can't ever get them to stop!! Most people can't wait for their kids to say their first words and take their first steps...then they spend the rest of their lives telling them to sit down and shut up!!
