What year is this?

Can anyone tell me what year this Chev is? It is located in the middle of the mountains I hiked this week and out of nowhere BOOM theres this chev truck just sitting there.... No idea how it even got there, I am just wondering what year it is so I can put an approx time line on how long ago it was used.
I added some pictures of the truck and the area it was in

That is definatly a 1960. Unless somebody replaced the park lights with a 1961.

60-61 are the only 2 years with that front styling. The only appearance to differentiate between the 1960 and 1961 trucks were that the parking light ovals were open around the spinners in 1961 whereas in the 1960 models this area was entirely closed.

Notice the park lights.

I think it looks better than the Ford and especially the Dodge of the time.
Ford was competitve in looks pre 1957, then they went to that ugly stage from 57-66. Still not horriable, but not pretty and got spanked by looks from chevy's.
During that time the 62-72 chevy's were HOT! No one did or has touched them for looks to date. I would love to see a retro of that come out. I might would have to try to buy one for a weekend cruiser if they did.

67-72 ford had a nice look with the revesed ridge running the length of the truck. But still didnt compete with the C10
73 they both Ford and chevy went backwards and got uglier as did almost everything else in the 70's-80's.

Yea it looks like what they call a grain truck, probably a duece and a half ton. Most of the time they were dump beds, alot of guys here use them for wood trucks.

Yeah, I thought it looked kind of familiar. Haven't been down there for several years though. I'm from Carrot Creek, east of Edson. That truck must have been a relic from the latter part of the Coal Branch years.
