Paintless dent repair...

Anyone ever tried this on their own? I watched a couple of videos on youtube about it... I'm sure it takes a little talent, but it doesn't look that hard if you just have the pick(s)...

Our Civic has hail damage, and its not worth it to us to pay to have it fixed. Just thought I might play around and try to fix it myself sometime...

Try the spray duster air cans on a hot day. I've seen videos of it before and it seemed simple enough...

and yeah, I've heard of people using dry ice, and in theory its sounds plausible, but I've never really believed it or seen it...

Empty beer cans are usefull too, made a throttle linkage for the boat outta one once

The paintless repair isnt that difficult, just gotta be patient and have the right tools. Be sure you give yourself lots of time to do it, if you rush it will turn out like crap. I did it on my old Cougar, got a couple dollys from a parts store and used my small ball pean hammer with an old towel.

Knowing the pick to use and lots of patience are the keys.

someone should send all these different ways to mythbusters and have them see if they really work.

There is a local company called "Painless dent repair'...

As soon as I got my truck, I backed into my friends mailbox. Put a HUGE dent in my tailgate along with a couple of scratches. I tracked down the closest "Painless" guy and he fixed it for $40. You can't tel it ever happened unless I point it out. I've even forgot it happened and I'm **** about my truck.
