The cup was here last weekend. Rick Jackman lives like 5 minutes from here.

i love hockey and cant wait 4 the season to start. I think my st louis blues will make the playoffs since they added a scorer like kariya and the first overall pic in the 05 draft E.johnson will be at defence. I know that there is a lot of wings fans on the forum and thats cool and all but I hate detroit with a passion im so sick of hearing bout hockeytown.I do agree that the great state of wisconcin NEEDS a team!!! Im not really sure if ill like the new rbk edge uniforms or not i hope the blues dont change the jerseys like the god awfull ones from 94-97 those sucked!!

I think its Roberto Luongo of the Canucks.
Turco is. He is awesome, the best maybe, and he will get his due just like Belfour did. Remember, Ed couldn't win the big one either.

Go OILERS!!!! Oilers will be the surprise team again this year with all their new acquisitions

honestly though, so long as they beat Calgary I'll be happy

Luongo is the best goalie in the leaque, look what he has done for Vancouver even though everyone in front of him sucks.

Used to live in CT and follow the Hartford Whalers.......now the Hurricanes. Also partial to the Canadiens since family is from Quebec area. Does Ken Dryden still play... ha ha.

rangers fan here (and its the only sport i watch).

think they paid way too much for gomez, but i am glad he will be wearing a rangers jersey.

was also disappointed about the talk that they were going after peca, but thank god that didnt pan out.

seems like the rangers spent heavy on offense, and didnt tighten up the D like they should have.

i dont think lundquist is enough on his own to get them way deep into the playoffs, but thats the beauty in sports. theres 'whats on paper', and theres what will happen on the ice, but we wont know that for about another month or so.

Ya, hockey, the fastest sport a guy can play! Who dared to compare hockey and soccer? Bunch of whining fakers in shorts. Soccer and baseball, now there's a good comparison......like watching paint dry. OMG!
Being on the West Coast I should support the Canucks, but they're mostly known as the Casucks, so I go with the Senators. This year, all the way!

I played soccer for 2 decades, it's a sport for those with brains. I played football, brawn is needed for this game. I played a little hockey, and you need both brains and brawn. Baseball, I am not dumb enough to play.

Hockey is the perfect combination of speed, skill, strength, stamina, and finesse. I'd be willing to bet the majority of people that don't like hockey don't like it because they can't skate
