I love this place!!! I have been here a couple days. I am going diving tomorrow. I posted some pictures on my myspace. Labor day weekend I am meeting a few of my friends at peanut island in West Palm Beach and we are going to camp out on the island. 3-4 boats+about 25 people+lots of liquor=awesome times at peanut island. woooohooo

Be careful out at Peanut Island. I recently read an article about how much they are cracking down on underage drinking (if that applies to you) and drinking/boating.

 

under age....lol....I'm 31. There are always cops there but they dont really bother anyone. I have been there at least 5-6 times in the past couple years.

 

I ended up in the hospital last time I was in the Keys!

I bet it was on a scooter! Mine is a two person and it tops out at 33mph. My sister has a newer one that gets up to 42mph. I am pissed. Oh well.

 

Slightly off topic, but once I was *very* drunk and riding around my friend's block on his sister's motorized Razor scooter. It had been raining and those huge toads that only come out when it's wet were all over the place. I was coming down a hill, saw a toad, and forgot that I was not in my truck, but on a scooter. In my truck it is common practice to swerve and run over those stupid toads whenever possible. I was doing what seemed like 50 or 60 MPH when I hit the toad. The front wheel was not quite big enough to roll over it and I ended up landing right on my face. I had to walk back to my friend's house with bloody elbows and a broken Razor scooter.

 

Ill be going to Isla Morada in october, I really wanted to check out key west and do the tourist thing but we are only staying 3 nights and we plan on fishing and dining the whole time. what's really cool tho is we are flying to miami and driving down, which is cool cause usually we just fly wherever we go and never drive, but now we try to get a little drive time in to see the country side. hopefully the drive from miami through key largo will be as cool as the drive we had in jamacia from montego bay to negril

 

Countryside? In the Keys? Lol. Look east, you see the ocean. Look west, you see the ocean. Oh and chances are the time you spend driving in Miami will make you never want to drive again.

 

Damn I cant sleep! Oh Well thats what f150online is for. Driving in Miami does suck. But once you get down to the keys its beautiful! Lots of ocean on both sides but it is pretty nice. While in Islamorada you need to at least drive down to keywest for one day. Its only about an hour or less from Islamorada. Key West is full of History, Bars, Restaurants, and an over all great time!!!!

 

I sooooo want to see key wast but I think that might have to wait till next time, this trip is more just to get away, fish, get drunk and relax for a weekend. I have a feeling that I'm gonna want a full week to drink my way through key west

 

Plus (if anyone cares) they lifted the 40 year old restriction on getting tattoos in the keys. Just a little factoid for you guys

 

might have to get that Ink I've been talking about for a while

 

they have a place called KEY WEST INK.....They copied the name from MIami ink and LA ink.

 

well i wont be visiting Key wast this time around.... and I really dont buy the hype around Miami Stink... anyone know any Ink shops between miami and isle morada that could knock some easy symbols out for me?
