Spending time on this site will keep you out of the bar's!!

 

one day ill spend about 5 hours in here, then the next day ill spend no more than 10 minutes. Then the next maybe 5 again.

 

I'd say about 2 hours a day for me. GD at times makes for some entertaining reading, but most of all it's great to get some ideas and information about mods for our trucks. This site has cost me a lot of $$$$$$ ! I never thought about suspension lifts, CAI's, XCAL2's, 35" tires, etc....... before I joined here back in 04'.

 

Every night till I start to fall asleep.........except weekends thats when I get on in the morning

 

This site is terrible on the wallet!!!
I wanted to leave this truck stock until i joined here ya bastids
Lets see this week i get my tuner,tires,rims and installing my body lift so that is gonna cost me too damn much!!!!!

 

Ok...... I am the girlfriend and let me tell you, we have laughed our A**es off reading these crazy responses. I to, serve him his dinner at the computer, only he gets ONE glass of Ice Tea to drink, then hes on his own He has also spent lots of $$$$$ due to this site. After we read some of the responses, he looked at me and said, as he was laughing "See, honey Im not the only one on here alllllllll the time!!" I have to drag him off here at night time and remind him what time he has to get up in the morning and NOT to EVEN complain about being tired the next morning Keep the responses coming as I enjoy reading them too. have a good one!!

 

 

Hmm, your house doesn't sound much different than mine, my wife does the exact same things including reminding me.. "Honey, it's 12:30, you have to be up in three and a half hours......." Typical response from me... "Ok, let me reply to this post then I'll come to bed..... 30 mins later... "Honey have you finished that reply yet????" Me: "Yea and made a couple of more... I'm coming!"

The only way she can get me away is to offer sex....... and thats not a 100% guarantee, depending up on the topic that we are discussing on here and how many replys are coming at the time...

It's bad I tell you.... Maybe we need an F150online support group to help with the addiction. Aside from affecting my sex life, (which I never thought anything would make me postpone sex) other than that, I don't have a problem with the addiction.

I'll see if I can get my wife on here later to confirm that your really not alone.

I was going to make an actual thread about this one day...but I did a little number stuff one day.

I have 4797 post right now. I would say I spend an average of three minutes typing a post....some are quick and short, but I do type out some fairly long ones in the Audio forums.

So, thats 14391 straight minutes of posting, or 239.85 horus of straight posting, or almost 10 days or posting nonstop if you added it all together.

That would be just straight posting. Add the time I spend just browsing on here and it would add up to a fair chunk of my life

I bet I average 3ish hours a day.

 

My wife read the thread and laughed her **** off, she is glad that she is not alone.... I tired to get her to create an account and post, but she wont... yet... If it is slow at work for her the next day ort two, then maybe she will. She does read here to see what we are up to while at work.
