You'd be suprised. No one wants it around here. I'm having trouble selling a dirtbike that has $4,000 invested into it for $1,300 and its a brand new 2005. No one is spending money around here.. I think I'm going to move to Tennessee.

You cant sell a 2005 dirt bike for $1300?

No, I wouldn't say you need to move.....aparently, you make more than everyone else there.

They are big in florida still!
Man if I wasnt so far behind on my bills already where I could get a loan, maybe we could help each other out. But I'm not in any position currently to take one one more bill. Hoping, to have a few paid off by the first of the year and finance a good late model boat.

Just a little addition to the general info on types of drives and engine placements.

There are also boats with stern drives and forward mounted engines. Often done for better balance and less clutter on the rear deck for fishing. They use a long jackshaft that runs beneath the deck to the drive unit.

I worked in a boatyard when I first moved back to this area, saw a little of everything. The Navy has some special boat teams in the area, and they get the top of the line goodies for their offshore rigs, then lie about the specs.

but that would probably be your best pick for 4 adults and 2 130lb guests if you were going to pick one. 215hp is not going to cut it....

I have to agree with Chad and I'm a SeaDoo owner. I just wouldn't spend the kind of money they're asking for their jet boats. I'd check out Mastercraft, they have a lot of multi purpose boats, I think even a center console now.

Don't feel limited to mastercraft as they are typically a little more expensive than the competition. I am just partial to them since that is what I have always owned. There are many other brands such as tige, ski nautique to name a few. I would stick to those 3 brands though IMO.

With your luck, I'd bet that if you went to selling turkeys for a living, Thanksgiving would be canceled.
