By the way jamz it is a nice boat.
Thats not a bad price, shouldn't be to hard to sell.
You'd be suprised. No one wants it around here. I'm having trouble selling a dirtbike that has $4,000 invested into it for $1,300 and its a brand new 2005. No one is spending money around here.. I think I'm going to move to Tennessee.

You cant sell a 2005 dirt bike for $1300?
No, I wouldn't say you need to move.....aparently, you make more than everyone else there.

Man if I wasnt so far behind on my bills already where I could get a loan, maybe we could help each other out. But I'm not in any position currently to take one one more bill. Hoping, to have a few paid off by the first of the year and finance a good late model boat.
Just a little addition to the general info on types of drives and engine placements.
There are also boats with stern drives and forward mounted engines. Often done for better balance and less clutter on the rear deck for fishing. They use a long jackshaft that runs beneath the deck to the drive unit.
I worked in a boatyard when I first moved back to this area, saw a little of everything. The Navy has some special boat teams in the area, and they get the top of the line goodies for their offshore rigs, then lie about the specs.

I have to agree with Chad and I'm a SeaDoo owner. I just wouldn't spend the kind of money they're asking for their jet boats. I'd check out Mastercraft, they have a lot of multi purpose boats, I think even a center console now.

This one was an aluminum V bottum, looked like a Lowe brand boat. I didnt look at the motor, wasnt anything to impressive, they were patroling the mouth of party cove.
Where I was trying to go to see some hootie-cans, until I sank.
