I don't have a picture of my boat. It's pretty impressive though...a 12' aluminum John Boat with a 7 1/2 hp outboard and an electric trolling motor, also equipped with a fish finder, oars and comfy padded seats!

Heh... We've got a canoe which is pushed by a 9.8 Merc motor...

That's my sons boat. I think it's only like 12 or 14 feet, with a 35 hp motor!! Kids

I really wouldn't call that overkill just cause of the weight of it... My boat is 16' and has a 130 HP motor on it, and I'm looking for a 150 - 175+ motor for it... It's rated for 200...

I can't remember what he said the boat was rated for but it's a lot smaller than 35 hp. Somewhere around 12 I think

Eh, I've always thought that the Cost Guard max HP rating was merely a suggestion anyways...

Apparently my son does too because he wants to get a bigger motor!!! He needs to reinforce the transom first as he's pretty sure a bigger motor would just become an expensive anchor!!

I've had the boat 2 years and have failed to get a pic of it floating..... I ussually take every advatage of it floating and running at the same time, to use it!!!!

Probably december, jan/or feb. Hopefully I'll have finances in order by then and I'm hoping to start shopping to try and find a 90 or newer 23'-28' Baja open bow.

Thats why I went with a white boat and stripped the decals so it would match any truck! I was going to paint the trailer metalic silver, but now... ehh maybe not. I'm pretty done with this boat. Proally just fix the transom again (right this time) and sell it.

Eh, my boat is a trooper. It kicked that wrecks ***. And I just went through all of my pics on your boat... None of it floating. I could have sworn that I took one of it at the dock when we were out on the LOTO in May.
