Well, after looking into this, and reading the one post from the "Visited Toy Yoda Plant" thread, I contacted a "friend" of mine who works at the local Ford dealership. Inquired about possibly obtaining one of those nifty lil PIN's come spring time for my new truck purchase.

Let's see how much of a "friend" he really is! LoL.

Any FoMoCo employee here willin to hook someone up if my friend turns out to not be a friend?!

Anyone know what the savings thru the X-plan is? I was told it's ~$50-$150 below invoice.

 

I have the x-plan and saved about 5K off my truck when I bought it back in 03. I don't know if I can hook you up though. Not quite sure hhow that works.

 

Well, according to this, it says that employees are given 4 PIN's each year to "give to eligible friends and neighbors to purchase discounted vehicles. Friends and neighbors are eligible for the X-Plan if they are identified and sponsored by a Ford Motor Company employee or retiree before visiting a dealership."

So, if you are a FoMoCo emp., then yes, you should be able to "hook me up". Which would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone else have exp. with the X-plan? If so, what'd you save?

Found one... one VERY good site.

 

don't work for FoMoCO. but my wife works for state farm thats where we got the discount from. Do you mean the a-plan. I think thats what the fomoco employees get. It's a little better discount. My wife uncle is a dealer in CA and thats what he gets.
