Yes it does.
When we are speed reading, then we are not spending the time to analyize the charecters, we are just scanning for key componets and picking out recognizable patterns. We are also looking at sylables and overall arrangment as a whole, we also skip useles words.
If you'll notice in my post I often leave it words like "That" is a very common word I find I leave out, because to me it is implyed. It is one of the many words I skip over when reading, so I dont see it when I read other material which has lead to me phasing it out of my own over the years..

Looking at and analysing the paragraph above I see atleast 5 times I should have used "THAT" and atleast one in this sentence.

Who noticed?
