Creeeeeaak!

I had a 6" Fabtech lift put on my '01 screw about 3 weeks ago. When I Mildly step on the gas, I hear a Short "Creaking" Noise coming from the rear of the truck. Its not the squeaking that would come from the shocks. I'll see If I can get a video of it tomorrow.

I tightened down my u bolts again and it still does it.

Well, They still Look good and They are still Tight, Anything else I should check??

And I ONLY hear it when I am at a dead stop and give the pedal a decent push, If I take off slowly, I hear nothing

Hey skrewed, are there polyurethane bushings used in the lift kit? I think I heard somewhere that they are prone to noises. Peace, Dave.

Did you make sure to grease the spring bushings. Try jumpimg up and down on the rear bumper to see if you can make it squeak.
