That rivet would be it .........

Actuator, Power Door Lock

Removal

1.

Remove front door trim panel (23942). Refer to Section 01-05.

2.

Drill out power door lock actuator (218A42) retaining pop rivet.

3.

Disconnect wire harness connector on power door lock actuator.

4.

Disconnect latch lock rod from power door lock actuator.

5.

Remove power door lock actuator.

Installation

1.

Follow removal procedures in reverse order.

They're 1/4" pop rivets so you could use a 1/4" x 3/4" pan head screw. Don't think that would present any clearance problems. A regular bolt may be fine too, you'd just have to check it. Either way, put a drop of green or blue Loctite on the threads.

You do realize that a nut is more expensive than a drop of loc-tite.
I'm cheap and lazy, but I won't blame one on the other unless it actually is cheaper and easier.
I htink a nut is just easier for you so would fall under the lazy part. Hope it dont turn out to be more work though and especialy hope it dont cause you to have to redo the work anytime soon.

I like you imgaination!!!

Your going to fit in fine here.

On a serious note, you could probably skip double nutting it, if you have 1/4-20 neoprene nut.

Get the neighour to go to the store as If you went his cow would most likely perish and get him to pick up some cold ones so you can offer him a beer for his trouble.

Get him to help change the actuator too!
