I have been outisde working for the last few days.. today.. I'm in the house.

Feels like hell. Atleast the humidity isn't 75% like it has been.

Thats pretty hot! Welcome to my world! Take it from a desert dweller, just stay hydrated, wear a long sleeved thin cotton shirt, go to the closest gentlemans club or bar of your choice and enjoy!

Damn.

We are truely blessed here in Texas this year.

So far, we've only had one day with a 3 digit temp. 104 is usually our norm for this time of the year.

Bless y'alls hearts.

Stay cool, a heat stroke can happen in a heartbeat.

We hit 107 yeasterday with a heat index of 115... havent heard today I have turned my thermometer in the truck off cause I dont want to know. I tell me self it's a humid 80º and I feel better. I know it's self induced selective dilusional, but hey it's more bearable. The power of the mind is a great tool if you use it.

I didn't drink enough fluids at work today and I'm feeling it now. Gawd, what an awful day, when I went to lunch the temp in my truck read 103, the humidity was around 80% according to a thermometer/humidity thingy in the shop.

I'm going to bed. Gotta do it all again tomorrow. Yay.

Just remember. If it feels like death outside, more likely than not you smell like it.

We hit 107 just outside of Nashville. Feels like when you open the oven after baking something at 350. It looks like Fall around here, leaves falling and the grass is toast. I drank 3 -20oz. Gatoraids and 4-20oz. waters.

We've been around the low 90's for the last few days. Humidity dry enough to scare the **** outta me whenever I see or smell smoke. The woods around our house are so dry right now. Supposed to cool off and get some rain by the weekend...I hope so, we need it bad.
