well thats disapointing, when i go to take a pic of it today it's gone, dont know if its sold or he was out with it. If it's sold i want to go ask him who he boned by selling it for 8 grand. Maybe i can sell the guy some stuff too for way too much.

IMO i think your better off if it's gone.
I had a 90 Z71 truck,basically the same drivetrain as the blazer.
I had the truck for 5 years and went through 3 motors and 2 trannies.
The 700R4 does not take much punishment in stock form IMO.I blew the first tranny the cecond day i owned the truck I also blew the rear end and before i sold it the transfer case chain had lots of slack in it and the front end also made noises.
I got so mad at it i striped it to the bare frame and re did almost everything.A new GM Goodwrench tranny, built older small block chevy, converted truck to carburated.the list goes on.......
I put more time and money into that thing than anything i have ever owned.I had over $6000 in just motor and tranny

Ya i hate them after the luck i had with their drivetrain!!If you start beating them like i did they go downhill pretty quick.I also stripped the body to bare metal and painted it while i was there.Everyone said i would never get it back together when there was nothing but a frame sitting there It took months but i was happy with it after that and it finally held up with the exception of broken CV shafts,u-joints and the tail of the transfer case breaking.I blame the other broken parts on the 383 stroker that was bored 60 over

$3500 tops.

No matter what's been done to it, it's not a collector car and it's a 29 year old truck.

If he chose to spend more money on it than it will bring on the open market, that was his bad decision.

Little bit of advice... He's gonna BS about all of that. Has it been offroad? Hell yes it has been. It comes with a set of swampers, what do you think? MPG? Close to none. It's a 30 year old truck that's lifted. Those things got 11 MPG stock with a good breeze going downhill.

Good luck but like i said if you beat those trucks they do not last I bet it is a 700R4 tranny. They are junk in stock form IMO!!
Also if it carries less than 25psi oil pressure at hot idle after running it i would pass. All of the TBI 350's i have owned lived a short life after dropping below that!!Is it a TBI motor??
What kinda gears does it have???
