Breaking the Lift Law

What happens? Has this happened to anyone? I have a 6" Fabtech and 35's on my screw and My bumper is basically at the max legal height, I wanted to still do a 3" and put 38's on the truck, which would probably put me about 4" over the legal height. I still have 2" on the frame that I can go up.

I'm sure if its a fix it ticket, I could put my stock tires on and be fine

Also have a hard time getting it inspected. Im sure after you end up for 2 tickets for breaking the lift law and show up with the smaller tires to get it dropped they will catch on

Unless you're driving like a pissed off teenager, I doubt they'll pull you over just for your lift... I know several people who have trucks that are over the lift limit and have never gotten a problem, even when passing inspection here.

You can get a ticket for having too much lift? I've never even heard of that.

Here I think it's just the bumper isnt it?
Something like the bumper can not be more than 32" off the gorund????

What everyone does around here, is fabricates lowere bumper, and the ones that are actually driveing and wheelin', tehy make thier bumpers quick connects. Pull a couple hitch pins and it slides off ready for the trail.

In Missouri yeah I think it is a bumper height law. Never seen anybody bothered by it though. Hell, I think my stock height SD might be over the limit..

If I were overheight, I would be more worried about getting sued if lets say someone rear-ended me in a little car and was killed because my bumper was too high and hit them in the face or something like that.

I think your truck looks great as is. The risks outweigh the benefits of going higher.

I love the NH law...No higher than 20" That would make most brand new trucks against the law. I just got pinched for this BS Law! I will have my day in court.
