On the ones I've seen it's just a bolt under the gas pedal.

Yea it's just threaded through the floor with a rubber bumper on the end for the pedal to hit. Run it al the way down to the floor, so the pedal can go all the way to the floor.

Another method is a governer on the carburator. Which is either a rod restricting how far the throttle can open or a plate bolted either to the carb or intake, for the throttle to hit to keep the butterfly from opening full throttle.

It's going to be something mechanical, very simple and very basic. It's not going to be a special electronic unit or anything like that.

If it is a club car, there is a "spring" that can be tied back with a cable tie. Try www.buggiesunlimited.com and hit the forums: do a search for your model and year.

if ti is gas, you may be able to gfet around it like mentioned above .. if it is electric .. you will have to add an additional solenoid ..

we used to do that all the time to the carts the bag room used .. ticked the golfers off when we would go whizzing by them in a cart that looked just like theirs
