Yea, somehow I don't think the north pole will take off and thrive as a country like Australia did!

 

 

If they are thrown into it, then they have no choice.

 

I suppose they would have to make the best of it, but see, Australia started out that way but now people move there on purpose. Not sure you could say that about the north pole but I could be wrong, it happened once before!!

 

If a civilization was formed, and the land... err ice... became manageable, then some would move there, maybe not as many as austalia.

 

If there is oil there, people will move there for the jobs. Look at Fort Macmurray, Alberta, total s**thole but has limitless oil, avg family house price there just hit $600000. So anything is possible.

Plus with global warming, Al Gore is predicting the north pole will be the next Cancun, with polar bears selling ookleys on the beach.
