Just want opinions!

My names Kyle, I'm 19 from ohio and have a 2000 F150 5.4 4x4 I'm currently going to college and working part time. Heres my question I'm going to be getting a good little chunk of money here soon and I'm in this HUGE debate on what to do. I can either finish my truck (lift, wheels, winch, bumper, exhaust, roll bar, supercharger) or I can buy a mustang (I used to have a 2000 GT but had to sell it and get a daily driver which I will still have). I love speed and just mustangs in general but I think a lifted truck with all the bells and whistles looks awsome! Any thoughts?

You may not like this opinion but here goes. 1st is the truck paid for if it is keep it. 2nd what ever you do I would save at least 1/3 to 1/2 and work on the truck. If the daily driver is paid for and dependable keep it and use as such, especially if it's good on gas. Fix your truck up and buy a cover for it, which will help keep it clean for the weekends when you pull it out and cruise in style. Just my .02 worth

My daily driver is a 99 zx2, great gas and no problems and its paid for. I'm only planning on spending about 1/3 at most of what I'm getting on my truck anyways, thanks for the opinions anymore?

Well, if you're looking for opinions, you've come to the right place. This forum is FULL of them.

Here's mine: "Save that "good little chunk of money"....FOR NOW!

Unless you're well off and money is no option for you in life, save that chuck O change, because you never know when you're going to NEED it.

you guys are missing the obvious... he's a COLLEGE Student with a new truck, and another car.... obviously money is not an issue for him.

That said... save the money for a down-payment on a house in a couple years.

Or save the money to pay for the trip/tickets to see the BUCKEYES in a bowl game!

Save some for a rainy day. Does a college student really need a truck AND 2 cars? You must be independently wealthy, insurance alone would crush most college students - you do have insurance on them?

Most young men don't like to hear they have to wait, but the smart thing to do is save this money until you are working full-time at a good job so you can replenish it.

When I was in college, $20 seemed like a lot. When I got my first good job, it was $100. Now $1,000 is "just money" and I give more thought to spending $10,000. What seems like a lot in college can disappear in a big hurry out in the real world.

Hind sight truely is 20/20, pay off your student loans, credit cards and all that stuff, get out of debt and stay that way the rest of your life.

That's a good idea as well.
