Actually, Sadaharu Oh is the true home run king of baseball. He hit 868 career homeruns.

Well, that's true for Japanese baseball where the fields, at least when he played, were maybe a little bigger than our high school fields.

I've always read and actually had my Grandfather tell me, that Josh Gibson was the true HR king.. Right around 800..

sadaharu oh is the king. The fields might be smaller but he played 3 season fewer than bonds has played as of now. You cant help the size of the field, he hit 868 baseballs over the fence. He is the king.

Well, is we go with Oh, that makes Warren Moon the most potent Quarterback to ever play the game, and make Herschel Walker the greatest single-season running back of all time.
