Hey guys, so I didn't have any luck selling my truck at the auto fair this weekend. Hubby seems to think I should take the Edge out and try it that way since the truck is still under the factory warranty. What do you guys think? If you were looking to get a nice used truck and saw an '04 F150 FX4 Screw with 30,000 miles and it had an Edge chip, would that push you away?

Sell it separately

It will keep people from thinking it was run hard plus you might make another 100 or so from the edge.

 

I'd be more interested in buying it...

that said... if you decide to sell the chip let me know! I'll put it in my 04 FX4

 

it all depends on the buyer. if i saw it i would be more interested. but that's me.

i would take it out and sell it. one being that you'll get money for your truck and the edge instead of one price for the truck. plus it always looks good when you are trying to buy a vehicle and you "think" and assume it's stock and unmolested.

 

I persoanlly dont like buying used vehicles with modifications, but thats just me. For example my first car was a 93 Eclipse GSX and the person who bought it from me was screwed because even though it looked amazing and had alot of mods, i beat the hell out of that car.

Good call on taking it out. If I was looking at a vehicle and it had any mods it would def. turn me away. I just dont trust anyone and say to myself "Probably put in my some idiot who didnt know what they were doing and F'd it up."
