Some are from threads that get moved, some have been taken away that way though. Mostly you can look at it as I have had 712 questions over the years.

Although I will admit, I remember looking and having 660 and thinking to myself, "6 more post to the magic number... then I'm never posting outside of GD again."

Later when I looked I was at 668 and I don't remember making any of those post. I was kind of mad but didnt say anything, couldn't/can't figure out where those came from.

Honestly I dont remembr making any since 660........

 

I too tried to stop at 666.....was only there for a brief moment, then my count bounced around from 665 to 667...so I gave up.

So you get 1 post count for every 1000 GD post or something like that!!!! That has to be it.

 

Well.. if the 1 million thread had been removed a lot of us would have been credited with at least 100 posts..

 

 

If a thread in GD is removed all the psts you made are given to you in your post count, i recall that happening to me before. If the "Lets get to 1 million hits" had been removed not locked, a lot of people would have gained a lot of posts in their post count.

 

So you are under the impression that posts in GD count against your post count? You are in err.

I've been posting in here all night and my count hasn't budged.

 

Lay off the booze when youre reading this. Say you post in a thread in GD. I come in and start a trend of posting half naked women i nthat post. You post something in it, it does not count against your post count. Pss mag comes in and posts pictures of asian women that are over the edge, steve comes in here and removes the thread, or adds it to the pending area, you gain 1 post count for that post you had in it. Im not sure how entirely true this is, but i know when me and patshea were tossing around the topic of selling t shirts in here, when our thread was removed, i had about 13 replies in there, i know he removed it and put it in the pending approval section, i gained 13 posts in my post count, i dont know the entire deal with this, but i what happened with my situation.
