No, it was a good song. I'm laughing because every senior class in high school before and after me knew every word. They probably still know it. Was kinda like an anthem.
Don't forget the original Jefferson AIRPLANE, non of that starship junk......
And have not seen anyone mention Eric Clapton {Cream} and the early Queen...all stuff loaded on my mp3 for the morning workouts.

Lots of my favorites have already been mentioned. Much of what I listen to is from the '70s.
I did not see anyone mention ZZ Top. How about the Rolling Stones? Sticky Fingers was in the '70s for sure. Not positive about Some Girls.
A few more are:
Steve Miller Band
The Kinks (some of their best stuff was in the '70s)
Joni Mitchell (Blue is my favorite of hers)
Joe Jackson (Look Sharp and I'm the Man were both released in the '70s)
Neil Young
Boomtown Rats
AC/DC (Highway to Hell), even though Back in Black was early 1980
Thin Lizzy (Jailbreak and the Boys are Back in Town)
And of course, The Knack (My Sharona). Ok, just kidding about The Knack.

When Kobi feels nostalgic for LA, he can always listen to "Celluloid Heroes" by the Kinks.
Another great artist from the '70s is Van Morrison. Domino, Tupelo Honey, Wavelength, Brown Eyed Girl, etc....
And who can forget Meat Loaf's Bat Out of Hell album? "Paradise by the Dashboard Light", and Todd Rundgren's motorcycle guitar on the title tract.
Another big hit: Two Tickets to Paradise by Eddie Money.
And I really loved Rickie Lee Jone's debut album.
Good stuff!

Other gems from the '70s include early Elvis Costello tunes, such as Alison, Red Shoes, Watching the Detectives, Radio Radio, Pump it Up, etc...
