As for duct tape . . . it's the essential element on TV and Film stages around the world. Any gaffer and grip will have at least three rolls attached to their belt. Its uses are infinite and legendary.

There are actually many many lessons on this show, despite extremely low budget it has been succesful for 15 seasons with about 24 episodes per season. Gained in popularity each season with an outstanding almost astonishing fan base.
Even though low budget doesn't begin to describe it. The set is unchanged through out the seasons and total set cost was probably $300 worth of garage sale shopping. The most expense incured for each shoot of each episode, with out a doubt is in duct tape. Which 3M became a sponsor of the show several years ago and pays most expenses and offers endless supply of duct tape to the show.
Equipment = maybe 1 mid level camera, one boom mike and maybe a sound board. Yet they have made millions!
