However a little reaserch and appaerently some people have a visiable lunula, which does better fit the description.

I had never noticed mine was missing.... I"M A FREAK!!!!!!

I'm adding my sign now.

The lunula is the crescent-shaped whitish area of the bed of a fingernail or toenail. It is located at the end of the nail that is closest to the skin of the finger but still lies under the nail. It is not actually white but only appears so when seen through the nail.

It is half-moon-shaped, and has unique histologic features. It appears by week 14 of gestation, and has a primary structural role in defining the free edge of the distal nail plate (the part of the nail that actually grows outward).

The lunula is most noticeable on the thumb, and not everyone's lunula is visible. The lunula and the nail itself are good places to find warning signs of certain diseases such as liver disease, kidney disease, heart problems, and lung diseases.[citation needed] Any color differences or unusual lines may indicate some type of disease or insufficiency. However, vertical lines on one's fingernails are normal as one ages.

Lunular anomalies include changes in form, structure or color. Lunular dysmorphologic features (that is, anomalies in form) can be characterized by macrolunula, microlunula or anolunula, and nonconvex lunula. Lunular dyschromias (color anomalies) can be confluent or spotted or can be characterized by longitudinal colored bands that traverse the lunula. Alterations in the morphologic features or color (or both) of the lunula can be an indication of either a cutaneous or a systemic disorder.

Actually I have perfect nails.
Women are always amazed and jealous of my nails, (except the thumb that I accidentally drilled a couple of years ago, that one is permanently messed up) I hate them because they grow so fast and are a pain to cut. Especially my toe nails, it's like triming horses hoofs! Yea my nails are strong. They also always look polished because they are a smooth solid pink and always glossy. Women would kill to have my nails naturally. It has been used as a pick up line on me. Like they need it, all they needed to say was "You, me, parking lot.. NOW!"

Who here on this site keeps a bunch of mason jars in their truck and what is stored in them?

It's my fart collection. Some men chase butterflies with a net, I chase my tail with a jar.

My wife won't let me keep them in the house because one might escape.

As any collector of fine wines knows, these babies are becoming more robust and full bodied with each passing month.

Of course, if I ever get in an acicident it would be an environmental disaster. Try to imagine 263 farts escaping at the same time. I do have the skull and crossbones toxic warning placard on the bumper so people won't tailgate.

I have one that I keep in a five gallon jug in the garage.
I don't talk about it much, kind of like how women don't like to talk about childbirth.

I don't even think it's legal to own it.
I mean Iraq got invaded for having this kind of stuff.
ROTLMAO (again)

American chemist Wallace Carothers focused his work at the Dupont Comapny on a fiber referred to simply as “66,” a number derived from its molecular structure.

Which was used for the basis for Paul Schlack of the I.G. Farben Company in Germany, polymerized caprolactam and created a different form of the polymer.

This paticular advent created a revolution in the fiber industry. It was synthesized completely from petrochemicals. It established the basis for the ensuing discovery of an entire new world of manufactured fibers.

What is this fiber?

I think that is way understated.

It is estimated that the volume of groundwater comprises 30.1% of all freshwater resource on earth compared to 0.3% in surface freshwater; the icecaps and glaciers are the only larger sources of fresh water on earth at 68.7%.

Yes I do....

But I also use alot of nylon bushings, and nylon lock nuts, and nylon spacer washers for low heat applications, and nylon zip ties.

Nylon polymeres are an awesome material!!!!! They can be anything form low friction and high tension, or high friction and low tension or anything inbetween wit hany combination. Thier only down side is suseptable to heat failure at failry low temps.
