I just purchased a truck that has these wheels and 2 of the wheels are missing the center caps..The truck should get here in a week or so, so I would like to find these caps before it gets here.. Any ideas??
TIA

I think those are "old school" wheels.

You'll probably have to wait till it gets here and see wha tthat logo in the middle of the center is. I cant quit make it out. What I can see of it looks like it's either a word that statrs with "C" and wraps around the rest of the name. Or an "L" that underlines the name. Or it's got some type of oval around it. I can't quite make it out..... Looks like when you get it it will be as simple as reading it though.

Almost certain it is an L, but do not know of any companies that make wheels that start with L.

Off the top of my head.

Laced Wheels
Lenso Wheels
Lexani Luxury Wheels
Limited Wheels
Lionhart Wheels
Lorenzo Wheels
Lorenzo Forged
Lowenhart Wheels
Luxe Wheels

I know non of them have a logo that look like that today however it may have changed since the late 80's early 90's. When everyone made some kind of variation of those wheels. Then also the company may not be in bussiness anymore or they may have changed their name.

Yeah, I found a couple of those names when I searched, but could not find anything looking like those wheels. Tried different searches, but nothing lik that, which I happen to like. Can't stand the new style wheels where they have huge wheels and tiny little spokes. Especially on a truck. Maybe on a pimpmobile.

They look like these old ARE wheels > http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-Vin...spagenameZWDVW
Or maybe they are an ARE knock off.If they are knockoffs the ARE caps should fit.You may have better luck finding 4 ARE caps.

Yea I don't think anyone still makes or sells that style anymore.
Another 15 years or so when we start building retro rods of 90's cars, they will come back on the market then. Much like craigers, mags, outlaws etc. from the 70's have.

ARE (American Racing Equipment) did make those too, but thats not the ARE logo. They have/had several sub companies, but I think that style was made under the American Racing division.

I think that will be your best bet, there were literally 1000's of companies making those. The main diference was the centers. I know many that would buy the cheap ones and then buy Weld centers and put in them and no one ever knew the difference. Many of teh companies arent even in business anymore, which may be your biggest obstacle. At which time you could get non branded centers and put all around. Old school spinners would look nice.

I believe they are ARE wheels, I had a set of the exact same wheel on a 1992 Jeep Wrangler I used to own.
