Way back before this site had 'galleries' members would submit photos of their trucks to the webmaster.
Steve would then host them here and he took the time to write a nice personalized blurb for each member.

It was cute how he always said "...we..." as if the site had a staff of 35 when actually he was busting his butt all by his lonesome.
The galleries saved him because he did eventually get buried by the volume of photos.
People were waiting six months to see their pictures here.
His long and thoughtful commentaries were condensed considerably towards the end.
Something like, "Here's Franks damn truck!".

I appreciate the offer Patrick, but Im not going to be available that night.. Im going to get it done, when I can spare the 50 bucks for the alignment. Right now Im trying to save for a wedding...I'll be finished in October, so I can get them in then and get the alignment done a week after that...
