Negatives have always been emphasized, even before mass media. Since mass media . . . "If it bleeds it leads". That's where the money is.

No I got your point, although you missed mine. Hunting for sport is legal, so pretty much all you can do is moan and bitch about it on threads like this. What the point? Trying to make sport hunters feel as if they are no better than girls burning a kitten alive? If you see a problem do something yourself to make a difference. Thats why I asked if you eat meat.. Out to save the world? Why not start in your own home and see what happens from there. join PETA, become a vegatarian.

[QUOTE=RockPick]I'm surprised that Michael Vick's indictment hasn't been mentioned within this thread... yet.[QUOTE]

I mentioned him in my first post, I think it's the second one on this thread, the whole "pay per view" thing.

I hope they hang him by his b*lls for that one. I really do. Granted the dog fighting and cruelty is one thing, but WTF - you're a multi-million dollar NFL quarterback and you are looked upto by kids as a role model, most of which probably wear your football jersey to school. How could you possibly think that you weren't going to get caught. On top of that, why would you even take the chance. If you like fights and gambling, bet on the UFC. If you like dogs, go to the track. Don't raise 60 pitbulls in your house and host an underground Canine Fight Club. I really hope they make an example out of him (which they won't). Then all the Atlanta fans can get a taste of Joey Harrington and endure at least one season of horrible football like us Detroit Lions fans have for the last ETERNITY!!!!!!!

Really? The remainder of your post says otherwise. You inquire as to my motive and then offer suggestions based entirely on an assumption that has nothing to do with what my point was.

Drink more coffee. It can often make the senses a bit more acute.

So what if you eat the meet, slap the head on the wall and use the skins?

Actually, Joey might be good for the organization in my opinion. He's no 'Vick' but, maybe that's a good thing.

Bobby Petrino will likely be a strong presence from a coaching standpoint. He did a hell of a job here in Louisville (at UofL) but, the NFL is a different game. I hope he does well even though I still consider him to be somewhat two-faced when it comes to what he did with UofL football (I'm staying I'm staying I'm staying! See ya!).

But, all in all, I'm with you. I personally think hanging him by his ***** is far to simplistic. I can think of several much more sadistic methods... that he totally deserves if he's found guilty.

And just about every kid has burned an ant hill with a magnifying glass. So what?

The broads get their jollies by making kitty flambe' instead of cupcakes. Whatever. Next!

I guess we'll have to wait and see how this season pans out. I do agree that Harrington could possibly be good for Atlanta, especially given that everyone in Detroit knows that the Lion's GM Matt Millen is a huge part of what is wrong with our team. We go through more Head Coaches and starting QBs faster than Kirsty Alley goes through an all you can eat buffet. But, that is for another thread.

Back on topic, Vick, these 2 little hood-rat b"tches and anyone else who condones this type of behavior should deeply and passionately be made to suffer, just like the pain they inflict on poor Spuds Mckenzie and Morris...

Really? Tearing into their flesh with a fast moving metallic projectile and watching them run around 'till they die isn't as cruel? At least with burning they'll go into shock or die from carbon monoxide poisoning faster than a bullet to the gut.

Killin' is killin'. The only bummer is the cat lived.

That is why you practice so you can hit what you aim at, otherwise you chase the dumb thing for miles only to find the "monster" the guy got a good shot was a gut shot fork buck. You don't aim for the gut, you go for the heart, they pretty much shut down on the spot then. I used to hunt with those types until I found a area I could hunt with just my dad, my brother and I. As I mentioned before it is more humane than ripping it apart with your truck along the highway and totally wasting the meat plus the increased insurance premiums and safety risks. Besides there are charity's that are happy to take the meat for people that really need it if you don't want it.

This thread is getting off topic. (imagine that, huh)

Bottom-line, 2 teenage girls burned a kitten alive, and thought it was funny. It sounds like these 2 little girls are taking a jeffrey dahmer training tutorial to me.

They deserve what they get.

I think after seeing Tom & Jerry, we all wanted to run string through various obstacles, through the holes in the stop sign post, etc., then tie it to a cats tail. But, at some point, common sense/decency overwhelms stupidity.

For those who that doesn't happen, there's a jail cell for them. They don't need ritalin, they need a lethal injection.

Since killing animals is not as grevious as killing humans, yet. I say, give them 30 years, bunk them with Big Bertha and Janet, and issue them two family-sized tubes of KY each.

There should be a special place in Hell (2 stories below sport hunters) for animal abusers.
