LAKEWOOD, Colo. -- A woman who admitted that she knew her 5-year-old son was being given marijuana was sentenced to five years in prison Monday.

A man who said he saw Ladehoff give the boy marijuana in January called Lakewood police.
He said he sat with Ladehoff and Martinez around a table and they were passing a blunt around when the boy took a hit and then a second hit when the blunt went around a second time.

My son is 5 and I can't imagine him knowing what to do with a cigarette let alone taking a toke off a blunt. WTF is wrong with people????

I didn't know how to toke until I was atleast 18, but that was not in my home, or atleast not in front of me. I wouldn't swear that they werent toking behind my back after I went to bed when I was younger, of course they were younger too. So becasue I had never seen it, I had to be taught.
However, I knew how to smoke a cig from the time I was probably a toddler. It's kind of the monkey see monkey do, he'd seen his mom and her friends toking, by observing it, it was probably like a second nature for him, just as common as breathing.
