Lock your tailgates

Tonight my buddy and I were walking out of the gym to our trucks and he noticed that his tailgate was gone. Apparently someone decided they needed it more than he did. There were some witnesses who followed the punks that did it, the punks panicked and threw it in some bushes in someones yard. Before we found out about the witnesses etc. he called the sheriffs office and a sheriff came out to us. He got a call from someone who found a tailgate from a truck in their yard...needless to say it was my buddy's. It was dusted for fingerprints and put back on his truck. Glad he got it back this time. For those of you who don't do it already, I'd highly recommend you lock yours if possible.

On a lighter note, I guess about a year ago when I was at a junior college my I was walking out of class to my truck. I walked for what seemed liked 3329miles. Only to see my tailgate gone, I was like WTF. I started looking around the parking lot getting very angry. Then I look and see my buddys truck and a HUGE white thing in his tiny little 4door Frontier. I walk over there and yep its my tailgate in his truck. He hadn't gotten out of his class yet so I pulled my truck over to his and stole his step bars. Of course with me doing this in the middle of the I had to be seen. Campus Secruity pulls up to me and asked me what I was doing. I got up and said you see that tailgate that truck he said yep. I told him to walk around to the back of my truck notice something missing? He laughed then told him so I am taking his step bars. I told him I knew him and could tell you all of his info if he need me too. He didn't he just wanted to go hide out and wait to see his reaction. So I went and parked my truck back where I had it and waited. He did the samething I did looked around getting all upset. Then I sneaked around to look like I was coming out to my truck from class. He comes to me and said dude somebody stole my stepbars. Then I asked him if he took my tailgate he said yeah but somebody stolemy stepbars. So I drove over to his truck and pulled up next to him so he can put my tailgate back on. Then he saw his stepbars in my bed and he had that smerk on his face like a pissed but funny look. Good times at MGCCC.

Many years ago some guy stole the doors from my truck. A friend kinda figured out who had taken them as the same punk was looking at his grill.

Any how long story short an other friend who had terrorized the punk in the past went and paid him a visit. no one was hurt.... and the said punk and 4 of his buddy's came back to the farm and reinstalled my doors about 3 days later. They were already at a body shop waiting for paint so they had to reassemble them.

back in our younger days we were not a friendly looking bunch of guys.
