Question for the computer gurus

How do you check how many other users are logged onto your computer? On my work computer (XP Pro) I have a directory that is shared on the network and I would like to be able to see how many people are using these files. So far I have not been able to figure it out and neither have any of my coworkers. Does anyone here know?
