So what you're saying is that you live to smoke. Damn, now that's an addiction.

Pretty much.. yea. It is incorporated and associated in everything I do. Wether before during or after and sometimes all 3.

How long have you been with her? Did you start smoking after you two started dating? Did she use to smoke? Why does she want you to quit?

Smoking will kill you....period! Smoking shouldn't even be an option at this point. Just put them down and walk away.
Like Mag said, quiting for this woman will make you want a smoke every time you get in a spat with her.
Stop smoking for your health, stop so your children won't have to deal with your cancer and health problems.

This isn't about a girl trying to change you, but rather you making a change for yourself.
I started smoking when i was around 16 and i just started one day and never put them down and now its hard to quit...natalie(thats her name) told me that shes noticed that its gotten worse in the past couple of months that ive smoked more and more each day...

I hate to tell ya matt but it's not easy to do!!!I have been smoking since i was 15 and i am 25 now.So 10 years 1-1 1/2 packs a day I have tried to quit multiple times but have never been able to.It seems like everytime i try to quit something happens to **** ya off and the quiting is over
I know that smoking is bad for your health and i wish i would have never started but to late now.
Honestly smoking IMO is the hardest thing to quit.I was able to quit drinking all the time also but i just can't seem to ditch the cigs I will take some pointers also on how to quit???

I smoked a pack and a half a day for 7 years. Quitting is tough and that is all there is to it. There really is no magical solution. You can quit if you really want to. My personal crutch was chewing on those little red coffee stirrers. Don't pay attention to all these other guys telling you not to quit. Quitting smoking is a good idea no matter what the cause. Nothing good will come of smoking ever. It stinks, it's expensive, and it kills you faster. After you quit you notice your sense of smell begin to sharpen. Food will also taste better than it has in years. Good luck and I wish you all the best.

Biggest mistake I see people make is "trying" to quit. Having never smoked, I can only speak of friends experiences. Those that tried failed. Those that decided failure was not an option succeeded - even if they had a setback, they alway went back to work harder for success.

Yoda logic, "There is no try, only do or do not."

Little green guy was pretty damned smart...

there will be some hard days where you can't think about anything else other than having a smoke

if you're having a hard time, just grab one and light up

it's not like it will hurt you and you don't have to smoke a pack, just smoke ONLY one. that will help make your day easier and it won't kill you either

good luck and try not to think about it so much while you're going without a smoke

The first step is admitting you have a problem
