WTF? Squirrels?

Follow me as I tell the story as it may get long winded.....
2 weeks ago I go to cut the grass and when I pull the cord to start the mower the cord just pulls out of the mower like it was not connected.I have pulled the cord and had it break this is not what it felt like.Anyway I take the mower apart to fix the cord and when I pulled the cover off the motor I find peanut shells like 5 or 6.Seems strange but owell I fix the mower.About 9-10 days ago I grab my air compressor to do some finish nailing in the house its a 20 gal portable that runs on 110 volts. The cord is cut clean in half nice clean cut.So I go get a new cord and take the cover off to get to the connections and guess what more peanut shell.I fix the cord.Last week I traded my 2005 F150 for a new 2007 F150.I took my JL micro subs out before I traded they are small 8" ported boxes I paid $299 for each but any way.I went to get them today and there is a 4x2" hole in the speaker along the edge its ruined. But guess what more damn peanut shells fell out of it when I picked it up.At this point I think it is squirrels due the the peanut shells.I live in a area where guns are a no no so I cant just get a chair and the .22 and wait for them. What do I do to get rid of them?I asked some of the other people around here if they feed the squirrels and so far every one says no.I dont feed them I hate them with a passion.I worked for the cable company for many years and they caused me so much extra work it was not even funny. So how do I get rid of them short of a 12ga and bird shot?

If i lived in a place where you couldnt shoot a gun, this is what id do. Id put out nuts that had been soaked in antifreeze and let the squirrels come get em! Of coarse a couple inocent birds may die as well, but thats they put down their lives to save your equipment!

My preference would be a pellet gun, and a good stew pot.

I used small green pellets. Rat or mouse poison I think, covered with peanut butter. He cleaned up three small plate fulls and haven't seen him since. Even one can cause so much damage. Mine got into my chimney and made holes into the attic and basement ceiling. Good luck...

A little off topic, but today I saw a squirrel carrying a Barbie doll up a tree.
