Hey, whatever happened with you and the artwork for Assassin's Creed? I saw some video of it from the E3 conference, looks pretty sweet.

 

um, yeah, I lost that contest.

Yes, that is (hopefully) going to be a sweet game.

Well, I thought it was a nice piece of work, but oh well.

 

Tell you what. To make you feel better, if I ever get a 360 and if I ever get Assassin's Creed...I'll insert your artwork into my game case. I'll also tell anybody that asks about it I got a rare edition of the game and for $100 I can get one for them as well. You know...the Jamzwayne Platinum Edition will be rare and all.

 

eh I dunno jamz, it hasn't really gotten very good reviews...

You played The Darkness yet? I just picked it up over the weekend and i've only played for a couple hours but great so far!

vampire rain sucks, i played it at gamestop and it was horrible, maybe for xbox it would have been good, it is getting like 3 and 4 ratings out of 10!

The Darkness on the other hand is a really great game, i love that darkness voice, and you get really into the storyline as well, i mean really into it

 

I dont have a xbox 360 but my friend does. All I really care about is Halo 3, he has the xbox live with the headset and all and it is pretty fun to play a bunch of 10 yr olds with high pitched voices, especially when you kill them and they attempt to cuss and yell at you :P Anyways I did have a xbox and ps2 but i just sold them so I could have money to spend on my truck :P

Well, damn....if I wouldn't have been so dad-gum busy at work yesterday, I could have looked over reviews...sorry fellas.

The concept and theme is what got may attention. Kinda like a mix between Metal Gear (I like stealth games), Blood Rain, and Resident Evil all mixed together in one. I like all 3 of those franchises.

Bad reviews, and suck *** game play....that's a let down.

I haven't played the Darkness yet...I'm still behind and I dont have a 360 or PS3...but I will soon.

 

That game sucks sucks sucks sucks and sucks even more. I got it from gamefly and put in back in the mail 4 hours after putting it in the xbox.

What sucks so bad about it?

 

I had fun with overlord.Darknes is not bad at all still workin my way thru it.

 

The game starts out in the turtorial that tells you what the buttons do. No big deal but it's stupidly long to hit 8 buttons that are basically common use among all games. But it takes like 20 minutes off running around just to tell you this button jumps this changes weapons and this is how to climb.

The game teaches one example of how to sneak around one of the vampires. Easy enough, then it tosses you into solo play with no real help. first mission is to shut down some cell phone tower. You have a automatic rifle like a M16, a knife (which for some reason has ammo) and a pistol. You climb on a building to get over a fence to see guard which is a vampire is patrolling the street. You have to sneak past him but that is impossible to do.

Soon as you come in his range hiding or not he will sense you and come on to attack. You can't out run him and your weapons will not kill him. One hit from a vampire and you're basically dead since you fall down and second hit throws you into a death cut scene GAME OVER. I've tried sniping the vampires with no luck also. Reviews on gamefly are all pointing at this horrible game play. I hate to sneak everywhere on a game. Especially when I have a gun in my hand.

Graphics look like something from the orignal XBOX. The acting is bad and the lip sync with audio is way off. Felt like they took Solid Snake and forced him in a no win vampire world. It's a really bad game and if you want to test it just rent it someplace or borrow it from a friend that will more than likely beg you to take it.
