Thanks to the conservation efforts of the Iowa DNR, our indigienous bobcat population has rebounded to the point where we will have our first trapping season with a quota of 150 animals total.

My father and I used to go hunting when I was little, OK we ran around the woods more than hunted and we got a kick out of spotting those furry little guys, I don't recall a single time where my son and I ever saw one.

Now if we could just get mountain lions protected.
