Where did the files go?

Where did the files go?
So wierd thing just happened, all of the files under "program files" in my secondary hd just disappeared. Most of my games are under that file and now there gone! The shortcut has changed to that missing icon. Wierd thing is, when i go to the remove programs page, my games are still listed but, their icon has been changed to the mission icon.

If it was important files he created then we'd try. but just program files is not worth the money or time, it's easier and faster and cheaper to just reload the programs.
This thread was highjacked from the first response and was going in a nice pleasant direction until RC messed it up.
