I found this pic in a thread on Arfcom...

The driver walked away from this one, BTW.

Hey Q,

Off topic but do you know how to disable the running lights on a 2007 Taurus? I've been all over google and had no luck.

If not no worries...thx man.

Is it a Canadian market car? Sometimes DRLs can be turned on and off with a scan tool, and sometimes you've gotta fool the module that controls them (usually the GEM or LCM) by manually reconfiguring it with VIN specific data from a car that does or doesn't have DRLs. I have an '05 or '06 Sable I'm working on at the shop, I'll check it when I get in tomorrow.

And no I believe it is an American market car but I can get the VIN if it helps. If you get to it great if not no big deal. Thx again.

Sometimes there's add on kits to install for DRLs too, you could try poking your head under the dash and seeing if there's any obvious add on wiring or modules (the add on DRL modules are black and about the size of a pack of cigarettes).
