Lasitter's feet were severed just above the ankles as she rode the Superman Tower of Power thrill ride at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom on June 21.

I did not see this story earlier, but it is a sad one. Whenever I go on roller coasters that go through dark tunnels or whatnot, I always duck my head in fear of being decapitated. I hate hearing stories like this.

Oh and LT, since you're a dog lover, I thought you would appreciate this sign...

Yeah well, apparantly I missed it. Guess I've been a little busy lately. Just wanted to give some of you a heads up on it.

Well for those that missed it, the general consencus was, as soon as they replace the cable, we'd ride it.

Also found a ride that many, including maybe even myself, would not ride......
Or if I rode it, it would be just to say I did it, then I would most likely pee my pants while on the ride.

Hey lovetrucks, I don't know if you know it or not, but we have the worlds tallest and fastest coaster right here in our state, King Da Ka at Six Flags Great Adventure. Launching 0 to 128MPH in just 3.5 seconds flat then climbing 456 feet straight up and over the top then straight down through a corkscrew. I road it the other night for the first time at night time, front row, and it is just amazing! I mean AMAZING! Just imagine sittin there at a dead stop in the dark, then being launched to 128MPH in 3.5 seconds flat, in a wide open car with no over the shoulder restraints, just a lap bar over your lap, and then heading up, straight up vertically to the stars 456 feet up!! Oh and ride the new El Toro worlds tallest, fastest, steepest drop wooded coaster in the farthest back seat while you're there, lol. That thing with it's super long train pulls you so hard over the first hill (and every other one) in the back seat it's just almost too much, lol. Good stuff there at Great Adventure!

yea I always sit in the back on a gravity powered coaster. The back gets an extra second or two of speed.

On a magnet or friction launch, definatly the front!
