So i've got a bunch of fireworks (from out of state because they're illegal here). Anyone have any cool tips/tricks to do? I've figured out a few things like sticking them in a jug of water and letting them go off but I was wondering if anyone else had any cool ideas.

 

How about lighting them?

Bottle Rocket Wars!!! Me and 3 friends have them every year. They are a blast

 

When we were kids a buddy and I would get a gross each of bottle rockets, then head down to the creek. There was a big log that bridged over, and we'd sit there, light the rockets one at a time, and toss them into the water, trying to get them to go straight down...

Not sure how much fun it would be as an adult, but as a kid we thought it was great...

Also have a few beers with your buddies and start lighting them off the conventional way and i bet by the end of the 6 pack you will have your own "fun" way of lighting them off.

 

Its not that cool but we use to try and out drive bottle rockets. Passenger puts one on the ground facing the same direction as the car, light it and hit the gas. Always fun to see where it explodes....under the car, next to someone's window, in front of the windshield....

 

Shooting Roman candles into water (Pond or lake) is pretty neat to watch. It's lights up the water around it pretty bright.

I bought $200 worth of Artillary shells or mortars, or what every people call them. Those are my favorite. Best you can get as a regular civilian.
