His point is that the girl selling the IPhone will hand deliver it right to the winning bidders door. That's more then likely the reason the bid sits at $2000.

That would most likely be her. Maybe one of her friends. There's only one bid so far; and, nobody in their right mind would start off that high.

I understood the offer .. but when you can drive to the apple store, pick it up immediately, and save $1200 bucks, and have it tonight, instead of tomorrow .. seems moronic to me.

I was hoping that there would be plenty of iphones out there, just so all of these idiots sleeping overnight would realize that after a few hours or maybe a few days you could just walk right in and pick one up.

How would you feel if you camped out overnight for something that you thought was exclusive, but realized days later that you could have done like everyone else and walked in and picked one up a few hours later?
