'Knightrider' Electrical Help - how to

Anyone know where I could find a controler to make a set of LED's chase eachother like kit from knightrider? I've got a buddy's car that wants to put a set underneath of it. I can handle making the LED bar and that stuff, but am in need of a controler. Might have to make one. Any ideas? I'll even accept the smartarse ones too!

No way man, old school all the way. Check out that fro and the button down shirt, defending the innocent lives of people everywhere in his Pontiac Firebird. A car that, on a bad day, still has better acting capabilities than Keanu Reeves.

Somewhere, sometime ago I read an article about someone that made an exact replica (or what he thought was an exact replica) of the KR car. It might have been in this forum...I'll see if I can find it..

They might be able to sell you just the controller if you had a different LED setup in mind.

Diagram of the controller:

(it's all greek to me)
