I go in for surgery in the morning

Yep, I have to be at the hospital to get my bicep fixed at 8:30 AM (EST). So, I may be scarce for a day or so. I'll let you guys know how it goes as soon as I can.

Good luck wandell. I'm going in for reattachment also, but not until the 23rd (or 27th, I can't remember). I'd be interested in a first hand (no pun intended) account of what to really expect. I'm right handed and it's my right shoulder so I'm going to be screwed. I'm always having to sign documents and such and am worried about how long it will take to be able to do that, and then how to do the most rudimentary of things that one takes for granted. Once the dominant hand is useless it's gotta be tough.

Good luck again, and when you're able let us know your progress and how easy/difficult it is.

P.S. In the beginning, ask for Percocet . . . best painkiller ever!
:santa:

Maximum

Make sure you say "yes" when at discharge they ask if you want a 'scrip for pain meds.. not that they're fun or anything , but I can promise that the ones you don't take will work wonders in the future for whatever, back pain, shoulder aching.. get 'em and keep 'em.

Best of luck with the surgery!!
