Interesting dont think I've ever heard of it, I'll try it sometime, I do like cornbread.
Looks like corn bread batter, not sure I can get over the texture of that either.

I will often crumbel cornbread in a glass of milk though!

I think mine is 100% the texture. The taste isn't bad, but that texture for what ever reason trys to trigger my gag reflex. Really hard to enjoy anything when you are having to literally choke it down. Some puddings and custards arent to bad, about the closest I can get is mashed potato. I can always eat hand mashed taters and gravy, the boxed stuff makes me gag.

It comes in a box?

Grits, Tex-Mex morning tacos, biscuits, THICK toast with jam (not jelly), peppered bacon, WHOLE milk, tortillas as big as 4x4 wheels, hash brown...

Love southern cooking...

Grits are magnificent.

Crumble up some bacon in them, smash in the eggs, and grab 3-4 slices of toast- and you got yourself a meal there, buddy.

It was funy as hell seeing those guys from up North in Basic training, looking at those grits like "What is that?" Then, by the end of 8 weeks, they were eatign those grits like pro's.

Now, what's nasty to me is Cream of Wheat.

May as well eat a bowl of warm snot.

SOS
Sh*t on a Shingle

Ohh I can tear up biscuits and gravy, with any breakfast gravy...
country gravy (aka Plain milk gravy), sausage gravy (is the best), hamburger gravy. It dont matter serve them up and pour it on!

There are a few ways to eat it, mine is a little strange. I put peper on top, then start mixing, while crumbeling the biscuits with a fork. When it's a big blob of mess on my plate, and ever crumb of biscuit has to be soaked in gravy. Then I dig in by the fork fulls and devour a double order (4 biscuits the size of your fist or bigger) in about 30 seconds flat.

Hmm that sounds good for supper tonight.
