Ok what did I just say?

Here's my dilemma... when I had my bumpers color matched I had the rear backup sensors painted. Now, when I put the truck in reverse the backup sensors work for about 3 seconds and then the sensor that detects if something is blocking the sensor (To detect heavy gunk etc) goes off and auto-disables the backups sensors until the truck is turned off.

I had asked several people (Limo drivers etc) who all painted Ford factory sensors and they worked! SO I was a bit disappointed to find this. I know they are capable of working, but I just need to disable that check feature. Is it possible?
