I can see that happening easily with that design. Going through a ditch at any sort of angle will make your frame twist a little...with a solid body like that it has to give somewhere. What a shoddy design.

Well I'd love to bash, but come on......
If thats what he went through, I have had my Trans-Am F-body (aka unibody) through alot worse than that numerous times!!!!!
I'd drive back and forth across that all day long in my unibody!
I am skeptical at best, he either did something else, or there is a stuck pivot point somewhere.
BTW My Old 88 Jeep Cherokee, while not called a unibody, it was built much the same way. It did not have a rear section of a frame, just a sheet metal box spot welded to the body.... I had it tetter tottering on opposing corners on 2 wheels many many times, at extreme angles, on razors edge of fliping, and yet no damage.

Those guys seem to have a gross conceptual error about the RL vs. a solid truck like the F150. I think this is a good example of why I like to buy from an experienced truck designer. Sure, the lights are out on my power window switches, but I'll NEVER worry about bending the frame driving through a shallow ditch. My towing limitation isn't the frame. The Ford frame can handle a lot more load than I could ever hope to tow!
