Mazdarati

Hello all,
Here is something I need help with. I have a 1984 Mazda B2000. It will start, but it will not stay running. The carb has a sight glass on it. When I turn the key to on but not turning the engine over, the sight glass fills up. Then when I start the engine, sight glass empties out and does not stay full. I put a new fuel filter in about 2 months ago. What can I check or replace? The fuel pump is in the gas tank and I was trying to avoid replaceing it unless necessary.

I think you already know what you need to check.
