Oh yeah . . . Newark, that tiny little airport just outside of NYC with all that open land south of it . . . Nope, although I can see how you could mistake it for EWR:

No, it's not a small town - but it doesn't look like a major city, the airport would have a lot more buildings and a connection to an expressway. It *might* be an old military base in a suburban area though, that single runway does look pretty long.
